1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ChronicleCodex ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ChronicleCodex provides AI-powered creative tools, RPG content creation utilities (including a D&D 5e Monster Creator), interactive learning content, and related services. Some features are currently under development and marked as "Coming Soon."

3. User Accounts

You may create an account using email/password or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create using our tools (monsters, stories, characters, etc.). By saving content to our cloud service, you grant ChronicleCodex a limited license to store and display that content back to you.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Upload malicious content or code

6. Intellectual Property

ChronicleCodex and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ChronicleCodex and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. D&D content used in our tools is limited to open content available under the Open Game License or Creative Commons.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ChronicleCodex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
