Where SRD material appears on this site

SRD content is used in the following places:

• The SRD bestiary — creature stat blocks available in the Campaign Forge combat tracker and encounter tools.
• The SRD spell list — spells offered in the Spell Creator and in the Monster Creator's spellcasting picker.
• Rules references — conditions, challenge rating and experience tables, and similar game mechanics shown throughout the tools.
• Encounter difficulty — the 2014 XP thresholds and the 2024 rules’ XP budget per character (SRD 5.2.1) the Encounter Builder rates a fight by.
• Game terminology and mechanics used by the Monster Creator's challenge rating calculations and stat block formatting.

What is not SRD material

Everything else on this site is our own or our users' work, and is not covered by the licence above:

• The Chronicle Codex name, logo, site design, and written copy.
• The software itself — the Monster Creator, Spell Creator, Campaign Forge, and the Codex assistant.
• Community Gallery submissions, which remain the work of the users who created them. Each gallery page credits its author. See our Terms of Service for how user content is licensed.

Using content from this site

If you reuse SRD-derived material that you found here, you need to include the relevant attribution statement above in your own work — your obligation runs to the SRD, not to us. If you reuse a community creation, please credit its author and link back to its gallery page.
