Description

You uncork a vial of squid ink and breathe a word of binding over it, and the ink leaps into the air as a hovering blot of living shadow. The sentinel is a Tiny construct that occupies an unoccupied space you can see within range (AC 13, 10 hit points, immune to poison and psychic damage). It guards the space around it. When a creature you can see within 5 feet of the sentinel makes an attack roll, you can use your reaction to have the sentinel spray a jet of ink; that creature must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be blinded until the end of its next turn. As a bonus action on your turn, you can move the sentinel up to 30 feet. If the sentinel drops to 0 hit points, or if it ends its turn more than 60 feet from you, the spell ends.

At Higher Levels

When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the sentinel gains 5 additional hit points for each slot level above 2nd, and it can use its ink-spray reaction one additional time per round for every two slot levels above 2nd.
