Description
Ushar Skybreaker is a wandering storm-caller who sells weather to those who can pay: rain for a dying farm, fog to cover a caravan, a squall to scatter a blockade. He is not a villain and not a hero, just a force that passes through, generous one day and gone the next. Drop him in as a colorful hireling, a wild-card ally, or the unwitting cause of the very drought the party was sent to solve.
Appearance
Nearly seven feet of weather-worn goliath, skin the grey of storm-cloud with pale branching scars where lightning has kissed him more than once. Wears a cloak of oiled feathers and a necklace of small brass bells that ring before he calls the wind.
Motives
Chase the biggest sky he can find and be remembered in the songs of the caravans — and never, ever let a single city put him on a leash or a payroll for good.
Personality
Booming, generous, and reckless — buys the whole tavern a round, then wagers the coin he needed for the road. Warm to strangers, but his temper turns as fast as the weather he calls. His quirk: he names every storm he raises and speaks to them like old dogs — “easy now, Grandmother Thunder, not yet.”
Voice
A rolling, thunderous laugh and a voice pitched to carry over wind. Tells long tangents, mid-sentence he'll glance skyward and mutter to the clouds, then snap back to you as if nothing happened.
